I the video, it sounded like he was buying burgers for some of the customers there in the restaurant. How cool is that! :D

Yes, I got the sense that he was trying to cover lunch for some ppl (other patrons or the members of the press? Not sure--) and that they refused, given his "you guys are cheap dates" bit.

i love that obama is well aware of how absurd it is that there are 230498 cameras and boom mics and reporters watching him eat a freakin' cheezburger.

and can i just say that as someone who has worked in kitchens for years and watched how shitty people are to the latin@ staff, it actually brought a tear to my eye to see him say "hola" to one of the employees? omg, cry.

This would totally be the day I'd be out in public with no make-up on and my hair in a skeevy ponytail and a T-shirt with a bunch of holes in it, and the fucking POTUS and VPOTUS would come into the place and my picture would be all over the world.

That said, I love that they went and had cheeseburgers like regular people. :-) (Though I also imagine the Secret Service hates shit like that.)
